Two stages, face to face, four intense rounds, and a decibel meter that shows no mercy: on May 29, Theo Rose and Puya will battle for the crowd’s applause. He’s bringing hip-hop straight from Sălăjan, she’s bringing Balkan-pop vibes — different styles, same energy, and strong fanbases. The two step into the arena with camaraderie and determination, ready to fight for the trophy of the seventh edition of Red Bull SoundClash Romania.
Theo Rose: "I discovered Puya during his La Familia time, with 'Foame de bani'. I was young and used to sing along with my brother. He has a strong personality — articulate, confident, and honest. We met years ago for a collaboration that never happened, but now I understand why. Our time is now, at Red Bull SoundClash, an event I’ve followed and admired for its mix of competition and collaboration. For me and my band, it’s a perfect opportunity to test our creativity and measure our progress against a giant of Romanian rap. Puya, I hope you’ll be as proud as I am after this battle. Thank you for accepting the challenge!"

Puya: "Theo Rose has climbed every step to get here — and there were many. She’s genuine, talented, and proof that success comes from years of work, not just one song. Red Bull SoundClash is a special competition with a knowledgeable audience that understands what happens on stage. For me, it’s a chance to try things I wouldn’t otherwise. Competitions always bring something positive to music. Theo, good luck — and I hope we make the crowd cheer so loud the microphone flies!"
On stage, Theo Rose stands out through sincerity and versatility, blending styles from Balkan and pop to jazz. With hits like "Nu mă duc la club", "Noaptea ne fură iubiri", and "A venit poliția", plus collaborations with major Romanian artists, she has secured a strong place in the local industry. Beyond music, she starred in the TV series “Clanul,” while her “Pe Vechi” tour debuted with sold-out shows at Sala Palatului.
A prominent figure in Romanian rap, Puya launched a successful solo career with tracks like "Nu te grăbi", "Muzică de tolăneală și depravare", and "Viață nouă". His hit "Undeva-n Balkani" confirmed his sharp voice in Romanian music, while later releases like "Maidanez" and "Bagă bani" strengthened his impact. His latest project, "Adevărul gol-goluț", introduces a new, personal concept to his career.
Red Bull SoundClash breaks the mold of a typical concert: it’s an intense showdown where the audience decides everything. The artists compete across four rounds:

ROUND 1: THE COVER – performing the same international hit in their own style.
ROUND 2: THE TAKEOVER – continuing each other’s songs in their own way.
ROUND 3: THE CLASH – performing their own tracks in different styles.
ROUND 4: THE WILDCARD – surprise guest appearances that can shift the outcome.
Since its debut in Romania in 2017, Red Bull SoundClash has delivered unforgettable battles. CTC defeated Carla’s Dreams in the first edition, Grasu XXL won against Loredana in 2018, while 2019 brought a historic draw between Vița de Vie and Subcarpați. In 2022, Spike edged out Irina Rimes, followed by Vama’s razor-thin victory over Killa Fonic in 2023. Last year, Connect-R defeated Șuie Paparude in a memorable clash.
For 19 years, Red Bull SoundClash has staged high-energy musical battles worldwide, with over 100 events across five continents.
Red Bull SoundClash reaches peak intensity between the two stages — where the crowd decides it all. Early Bird tickets are available until April 18.
